Danville police 'impersonator' was real officer trying to slow driver

Next, Burneister said, the Impala came up alongside his car, with the lights on again. Burneister said the driver looked to be in his 20s. He said the driver motioned to him to pull over. He and his passenger decided that was not safe and were afraid of getting carjacked. Instead, the passenger flipped off the officer and they sped away.
