Police kill four bank robbers

It began when 10 heavily armed men stormed into the TEBA bank in Roodepoort and told two tellers to hand over “all the money in the bank”.

A third dead accomplice was lying next to them and a fourth dead man was found lying at a street corner with an AK-47, and blue gloves on his hands.

An AK-47, an Uzzi and seven pistols were recovered along with R700 000 stolen from the bank.
