Officer shot at in bank robbery

A gang of three men had raided the bank and were leaving when one of them got out of the getaway car, a silver Ford Mondeo, and shot at a police van.

It is not clear if the male officer's injuries were caused by pellets from the shotgun or shards of glass from the windscreen.
